There are two types of guided bus tours.
#1 Lily Festival Bus Tours - Approximately 2 hours long. One hour of the tour consists of historial and interesting stories of the Town, touring various lily beds and the Riverside Cemetery, where the famous Margaret Laurence Stone Angel is located. The balance of the tour is to the Lily Nook and its growing fields, which have approximately 1,500 different varieties of lilies (200,000 plants). The tour can be booked on the Festival grounds. We have two buses, one of which is air conditioned. We suggest reserving early in the day to avoid disappointment.
Tour Times are:
July 17th, 2009 - 1:00 p.m. and 3:30 p.m. July 18th, 2009 - 1:00 p.m., 3:30 p.m. July 19th, 2009 - 12:00 Noon and 2:30 p.m
Times may change depending upon demand. The cost: $5.00 with wrist band; $8.00 without.
#2 Bring your bus and we provide a guide -The tour is approximately one hour long.
We tour the Town pointing out historical sites, including the Margaret Laurence Home, visiting various Lily Parks and gardens and the Riverside Cemetery where the Stone Angel is located. Pre-bookings required. Call Donna at (204) 476-2542
Horse Tours
A Little Info on the Horse Tours The rides take about one hour and following a set route. Riders receive a little history of the Town and get to see some of our more notable buildings. It is a most enjoyable ride and highly recommended.

July 18th, 2009 Every hour from 10am - 6pm No tour at 11:00 or Noon - parade in progress Also at 7 & 8 pm if required.
July 19th, 2009 10:00 am - 5:00 pm Cost: $8.00 without wristband; $5.00 with wristband
Self-Guided Walking Tour
Available at the Information Tent, a beautiful Walking Tour booklet, with guided map, history, photos of pioneers, historical architectural sites, architectural history and named lily varieties. Cost: No Charge.
