A Little Info on the Horse Tours:

The Horse drawn rides started without fanfare at the 2000 Lily Festival. The idea was to provide a nostalgic ride for people who wanted to know something about the Town but was unable to take the Walking Tour. Riders were scarce that year and there was a considerable wait between rides. Since then, the number of rides and riders has greatly improved and two wagons were used last year.

The rides take about one hour and follow a set route. Riders receive a little history of the Town and get to see some of our more notable buildings. It is a most enjoyable ride and highly recommended.

Self-Guided Walking Tour

Available at the Information Tent,
a beautiful Walking Tour booklet, with guided map, history, photos of pioneers, historical architectural sites, architectural history and named lily varieties. Cost: No Charge.
