Old Tyme Dance
The dance this year, held on Saturday night - July 23rd, will be a "Family Old Tyme Dance" and children are admitted free when coming with their parents. Music by Mark Morisseau Band will have you swingin from 2-6pm. Join in with Bills Sticky Fingers for a delicious pork or chicken dinner from 6-7pm. NOTE tickets for the dinner must be made by Friday, July 22nd so please call Audrey 476-8811 or Grant 476-3627 to reserve your meal. After dinner relax or kick up your heels with the Northern Reflections Band from 1-11pm. The Yellowhead Centre is air-conditioned and has a hardwood floor - so makes for a good time.s.

31st Annual Charlie Sage Memorial Fiddle Contest
Our Fiddle Contest will be held Saturday, July 23rd, 2011 from 2:00pm - 4:00 pm in the Lily Lounge tent located on Hamilton Street in front of the Roxy Theatre. Sit, relax, enjoy and help to promote and preserve this heritage and cultural activity.

Senior 70 yrs & Over

Rules
1. Each contestant may enter one class only, with the exception of the Twin Fiddle Class.
2. Contestants must play a waltz, jig and reel, in that order.
3. Contestant must finish playing within 4 minute time limit.
4. Twin Fiddle Contestants must play a waltz and any other tune of their choice other than a waltz. No playoff for Twin Fiddle Class.
5. Tune must be accepted old time variety and if possible named on the registration form.
6. Contestant may use own accompanist if desired. One instument only. Otherwise our accompanist is provided.
7. Judging is based on contest rules, accuracy, appropriate dance tempo, tune and overall style.
8. In case of an accident beyond player's control (broken string, power failure) he or she may replay.
9. The decision of the judges is final.
10. All medals and money presented at end of contest.
Prize money and trophies awarded in all classes for first, second and third place finishers. Early registraton is appreciated but registrations will be taken at the door. Accompanists provided.
Tangled Threads Quilt Show
Lily Festival Quilt Show sponsored by Tangled Threads Quilt Club will be held July 22-24th, 2011 in the Christian Education Building located just behind the Neepawa United Church. Come and see the many colorful magnificent quilts on display. Admission by donation. Show times are Friday and Saturday 10am-8pm, and Sunday Noon-4pm.
15th Annual 2011 Auto Show and Shine
Our 15th annual Auto Show and Shine sponsored by the Yellowhead Roadrunners will be held on Saturday, July 23rd, at the Riverbend Park. Please attend and walk down memory lane as you view the old classics.
Lily Kids Carnival in the Park - sponsored by the Royal Bank of Canada
Children's Events this year were held in the Co-op Parking Lot on Friday and included four bouncers, Bone Rattlers, Mini Car Town, pony rides, Treasure Sand Pile and music supplied by Star FM. Due to the forecast of rain on Saturday, the bouncers did not stay for Saturday. Sunday the weather was great and we had a slip-n-slide set up at Riverbend Park with a free swim offered by the Town of Neepawa.
The annual Kids Carnival will be held Saturday, July 23rd at Riverbend Park. Let the kids have a full day of activities at our beautiful Riverbend Park.
2011 Neepawa Chiropractic Lily Duster 5K & 10K Run
Back by popular demand, the Neepawa Chiropractic Lily Duster 5 & 10K Run will be held on Sunday, July 24th, 2011. Registration will be 7:15am-7:45am. Start time for the run is 8:00am.
Age categories 14, 14-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59 and 60+.
Sorry, no bikes, skateboards, rollerblades or other mechanized devices on the course.
Pricing for early registration $20.00 and registgration the day of the race $25.00 ($3.00 discount for members of the Athletics Manitoba).
