Miss Lily Fest Contest 2010 will again be hosting the Miss Lily Fest contest. If your organization would like to sponsor a candidate - please call Audrey at the office 476-8811. A first for the Lily Festival - the crowning of a 2009 Lily Queen. Five local girls have been sponsored by local organizations and are busy collecting pledges. The girls will receive a free hairstyle compliments of Venus Hair and Body Care and Sernity Hair and Body Study and a complimentary makeup application by local representatives of Mary Kay and Arbonne They will ride in the parade and the crowning ceremony will take place Saturday at 8:00pm in the Lily Lounge. 2009 FIRST EVER MISS LILY FESTIVAL - Lacey Tremaine
An Old Tyme Dance will be held Saturday, July 124th, 2010 in the Yellowhead Centre (which is airconditioned and has hardwood floors) from 8:00 pm-12:30 am. Bar and refreshments. SEE YOU THERE.
31st Annual Charlie Sage Memorial Fiddle Contest Our Fiddle Contest will be held Saturday, July 24th, 2010 2:00pm - 4:00 pm in the Yellowhead Centre (aircondidtioned). Classes include: PreNovice 9yrs & Under Prize money and trophies awarded in all classes for first, second and third place finishers. Early registraton is appreciated but registrations will be taken at the door. Accompanists provided. Help to promote and preserve this heritage and cultural activity.
Neepawa Lily Festival Square and Round Dance Our Square and Round Dance will be held Friday, July 13, 2010 . Watch for more details. Refreshments to follow dance. Casual dress.
Tangled Threads Quilt Show Lily Festival Quilt Show sponsored by Tangled Threads Quilt Club will be held July 23-25th, 2010 in the Christian Education Building located just behind the Neepawa United Church. Come and see the many colorful magnificent quilts on display. Admission by donation.
14th Annual 2010 Auto Show and Shine Our 14th annual Auto Show and Shine sponsored by the Yellowhead Roadrunners will be held on Saturday, July 24th at the Riverbend Park. Please attend and walk down memory lane as you view the old classics.
Lily Kids Carnival in the Park The annual Kids Carnival will be held Saturday, July 24th at Riverbend Park. Let the kids have a full day of activities at our beautiful Riverbend Park. 2009 Features were: Enjoy Taffy's Inflatables - Ollie the Octupus and Long John Silver. Airbrush face painting*, tattoo's* and candy art*. See you there.
