Plans are well underway for our 16th Annual festival which will be be held July 20, 21 and 22nd, 2012.  Our theme will again be "Fantasy in Bloom" and we hope you will all put on your costumes and come out for the food, music, flowers and fun. 

Some really new exciting events will be taking place this year:

Margaret Laurence Home is hosting a town wide garage sale during the weekend, Friday 2:00-4:00 is a Farmers Market, Friday afternoon will be more Children's Events from 5-8:00pm, a Bank Challenge will take place Friday 5:30-6:30 on Hamilton Street.  Come out and cheer on your favorite bank staff.  Friday dinner will be catered by Allan and Helen Drysdale and feature Beef on a Bun.  Viscount Cultural Centre will be hosting a Lily Art Show at their centre.

Saturday will again see our parade and the famous Pork-on-a-Bun hosted by HiLife Foods, Children's Events and Free Swim at Riverbend Park from 1-5:00pm, again a Farmers Market from 1-4pm.  Come out and watch our Phillippino neighbours show off their dances and singing from 4:30-6:00pm followed by a Chicken dinner catered by Chicken Delight from 5-6:00pm.  Did you see the Arm Wrestling last year?  Well, they are back with us on Saturday night 5-9pm in the Roxy Theatre.

Sunday you can find local artists doing their stuff from 1:00-3:00PM and help us round up our festival with a combined worship service to be held in the Roxy Theatre.

Cabaret on Friday night in the Lily Lounge will feature The Deluxe Trio, Dreams & Rumours and Almost Famous for the young at heart.

Saturday's Cabaret has music supplied by the Quinton Blair Band, Juke Box Heroes and Pop Vegas to keep the 40-60 people dancing the night away.

The Lily Festival is and always has been one of the most beautiful festivals in Manitoba…a “must attend” for everyone! Offering three days of lilies, music, food & family fun! This weekend is jam packed with Entertainment, Lily Show, Tangled Threads Quilt Show, Charlie Sage Memorial Fiddlers Contest, Parade, Miss Lily Queen Contest, Street Vendors, Bus and Horse Tours, Cabarets, Auto Show & Shine, Kids Events at Riverbend Park, Margaret Laurence Antique/& Collectible Sale , Family Old Tyme Dance, 5K & 10K Run and 5K Walk and so much more!
